Warehouse-Material Handler
Salem Branch
Summary Job Description: This is a part-time position providing warehouse and customer service support to our Salem branch. Daily responsibilities include: general warehousing & material handling; receive incoming freight, stock shelves, fill branch orders, load & unload delivery truck, prepare return shipments; and provide customer deliveries in the local area, as needed.
Preferred Job Knowledge & Skills
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Familiar with warehousing procedures and equipment (prefer 1+ yrs. experience)
- Basic math and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated and Team player
- Able to lift heavy objects, up to 50# frequently, up to 100# occasionally, with full motion range
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment with continuous movement on a hard walking service
- Forklift experience
- Flexible in job responsibilities
- Valid Oregon drivers license, with approved driving history
| Work Schedule: |
Part-time position, with partial benefits
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
Need to provide some flexibility with work schedule and work additional hours as needed.
